I am a Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist with a B.A. Degree in the Discipline of Philosophy. As a part of my professional training, I undertook years of personal psychoanalysis because of my passion to better understand the depths of my unconscious mind, so that I could better help others actualize their greatest inner freedom and potential. It is also as if I have been participating in years of challenging and accelerated post-doctoral training because of some unexpected amazing life experiences, and consequent intensive studies, that have given me a unique perspective regarding holistic healing and finding happiness. 

I was diagnosed with ALS in 1994 and was told that I would likely die within 3 to 5 years. I set myself on a healing quest that has been deep, profound, and transformative. In 2008, 14 years later, after eventually losing 45 pounds of muscle, I entered hospice, barely able to breathe. I was still determined to heal, and I never gave up. With my determination and much loving support, I eventually began to improve and was kicked out of hospice. My tremendous gains in muscle and improvements in breathing are historical, and my ongoing healing progress will be documented on this website through essays, photos, and videos.

I am incredibly enthused and excited about using the depths of insight I have gained in my unusual and remarkable healing journey to help you. To know that you are not alone in your healing journey makes a tremendous difference.
