First off, I'd like to thank my best friend through thick and thin, Lwam Tecle, for allowing me to live her dream with her. Only a few days ago I was introduced to a man by the name of Rickie T.  He has opened my eyes to a dream which now seems so close I can touch it.  

My name is Ryan McDonald, a freshman at the University of Toledo in Ohio majoring in Communicaton and ever since I was a freshman in high school my passion has been writing. I knew as soon as I graduated high school my writing would take off somewhere, but everything was so uncertain.  Being on a college campus and recently getting heavily involved with Alpha Sigma Phi National Fraternity and writing for the student produced newspaper, The Independent Collegian, have fueled my ambitions and dreams. Still, who knew something like the Harmonie Network would come along and make my ambitions and dreams that much stronger.  I have quickly realized in order to succeed you must put in work, but at the same time how enjoyable that work is when it's your passion.  Watching Lwam take off and progress herself so far in such a short amount of time puts a smile on my face because even as young teenagers in high school, I knew her day would come.  At that point I realized how much I enjoy seeing talented individuals make their way up the ladder of success. The potential I see in people only adds to the hopes and dreams of my future and theirs.  Ladies and gentlemen, I want to share those hopes and dreams with all of you.  As one unit, we will put all of our heads together and create something the world has never seen before.  We will create a family of individuals with similar dreams and make those dreams a reality.  With my passion for music, writing, and the joy in finding potential in young and older individuals, I see myself in the near future adding to Harmonie Network's success.  I realize I have a long road ahead of me, but I would not accept my success without it.
